Service Description
In this 2.5 hr workshop, we'll be learning how to make silicone rubber block molds. Each participant will bring home their own custom silicone rubber mold, as well as a beeswax candle made from their mold. We'll cover and provide all of the materials & processes involved in silicone rubber mold-making. Participants will leave equipped with the know-how to make their own molds in the future. Participants can choose their own object to mold or choose from objects provided by the instructor. (Note, if you're choosing your own object to mold: please email the instructor to ensure that your object will work for this project. Maximum dimensions are ~3.5" diameter, 5" height. Objects cannot have any overhangs or branches or holes. For example, a small gourd would make an excellent object; a figure with spread legs would not.)
